The Healthy Country Manager is an exciting new position with responsibility to further develop a range of programs across ACT parks and reserves, rural lands and waterways, in conjunction with Traditional Custodians and the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community. The position is a critical leadership, liaison and coordination role, representing the Directorate on a variety of regional stakeholder groups. The Healthy Country Manager will drive the establishment and coordination of the ACT Parks Aboriginal Advisory Group, and play a pivotal role in delivering key outcomes in the National Water Initiative and the Murray Darling Basin Plan.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: 
This is an Identified position only open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and applicants will be requested to provide supporting evidence as part of their application.

Also Note: 
This is a temporary position available for a period of six months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency from this process.
